Christmas In Candyland

Candy Land was a fantastic experience for our family! It’s affordable, kid-friendly, and packed with festive activities like snow tubing, train rides, and exploring uniquely themed cottages from local businesses. Our favorite was the fire department cottage — it was creative, interactive, and fun! The park really does a great job of creating a magical atmosphere for families. Now, for the one drawback: the winter skating rink is not real ice, but synthetic plastic panels designed to simulate the feel of ice. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come close to the real thing. The surface has more resistance than actual ice, making it very difficult for skaters — especially kids — to glide properly. Instead of smooth skating, most children struggled to move their skates back and forth, and many couldn’t get any momentum at all. It wasn’t just slipping — it was like trying to skate on sticky plastic. That said, the event staff had older kids on hand to help the little ones up when they fell, which was kind and appreciated. The overall experience was wonderful — fun, festive, and full of memory-making moments.

First time here. Fun for all ages! Free parking at nearby businesses and free entrance. Ice skating $5 and tubing $1. Free train ride. Food trucks. Mickey and Minnie meet and greet and more. Andalusia Alabama knows how to celebrate and offer affordable fun. Some pictures are in the town square and I believe I was told you could enter to win the miniature houses.

It was a cloudy day, but Candyland's magic makes it all worth it. There are a lot of things kids and adults can do to keep them occupied. The slide on the hill is $1 dollar, and the ice skating ⛸️; is $5 for half an hour. The train is free. The village with the miniature 🏘 houses each has a theme for everyone to go inside and have a magical experience!

Our 5 year old had a blast it's free entry and tickets to all the things are very reasonably priced the only place that's going to hurt your wallet is the toy store and the food vendors but that's to be expected

It's the most Wonderful Time of the Year. This was my 1st visit to Candy Land. I loved how sweet it was to see all the kids playing in the miniature houses. We enjoyed walking around, taking pictures and making memories. They had a nice selection of food trucks and vendors. It's free to walk in but if you want to ice skate, ride the train, or slide down the big slide you have to purchase tickets. We enjoyed it but won't visit again unless we have small kids to take.

Such a magical family-friendly event!! Delightful during the day & beautiful at night! My kids loved the fun interactive little houses which were so adorable I had to go in too🤭. Each one was unique & so detailed. There were food trucks with donuts, hot cocoa, pretzels, snow cones, burgers, wings & more. There were signs everywhere encouraging only one family to enter at a time. Most families/groups complied. There were photo opportunities with Santa and a snowy encounter with Elsa & Anna too. There was an evening show on the outside stage with lawn seating too!

We went Saturday with our children and grandchildren. The event is free but they do ask for donations. The scenes were amazing and we got some beautiful photos. The grandkids were in absolute awe when Elsa, Belle, and Snow White came out. They also got to see Pepa Pig and the Avengets. The characters were so sweet and took pictures with the kids. There was also a carriage ride that was riding one last family before they closed. My little 2 year old grandson started crying saying it's my turn and the family who was riding last turned to us and said it's just the three of us you guys can ride too. My grandson absolutely loved it and I don't know that family but if they ever read this review thank you from the bottom of my heart for that sweet gesture.

We have attended every year for our Christmas party. This is the Best thing ever! I know its heaven for ever child that gets to experience Candyland. Keep up the Good work Andalusia. Our new favorite for this year is the Reindeer and Snowman photo set ups.
