City of Belleview

I'm currently on maternity leave and woke up to my water being shut off. I'm not exactly sure why, especially since I received my bill at the end of the month 9/30 (via email). Problem is, I can't even open it to view it. Claims to be pdf but when I click on it, it goes to the internet. I called just for no one to answer the phone. I'm not sure how you send a bill late (the end of the month) and before it can be paid, cut off the water. But I'm sure a fee will be attached. Ridiculous.

Mayor, our phone conversation earlier today was not what I expected of a public official. I do not like someone over talking me as you did for just about the whole conversation. I won't be forgetting how you left this bad taste in my mouth about you.

Received a water bill for $366 for running irrigation which we have never used it has been unplugged and turned off since the day we moved in they are advising that it is too bad for us because their meter says that we used 40,000 gallons of water in a month to water our lawn I have attached a picture of how dead our lawn is and you can be the judge if it looks like 40,000 gallons of water were used to keep it nice and green. I highly recommend if you think about building or moving to Bellevue city limits that you definitely look into the costing that they charge for water and utilities. Coming from the City Of Ocala of a water bill between 30 and $50 a month with irrigation this seems to be a bit of highway robbery in the city of Bellevue pretty much told me oh well pay the bill or we turn off your water. Looks like the next step to handle Belleview is going to be to go to court because our neighborhood advises that they do this to everyone and it’s time we take a stand and quit being robbed by the city of Bellevue

Do not know how a bill can go from $50-$75 to $170 on my last bill this town is a rip off and should be sued beyond all belief they rip us off and can’t even get permits for homes and let’s not talk about water , police , and the rude behind the times people at the top down !!! Used to be a great place to live now it’s a shame and disgrace to our founding fathers !!!

The Mayor Christine Dobrowski was extremely helpful in listening and offering to speak with a landlord that I was having legal issues with on a land lease property that I bought for my son. I was able to come to a resolution without her assistance, but was still very surprised that she offered to mediate the problem if necessary. Responded to my email quickly and called me and did not give me the address to Marion county courthouse, which is what I expected. It is refreshing to find a busy public servant who is willing to go above and beyond for a taxpayer, over an issue that, they don't HAVE TO.

Keep all your proof and receipt. The city will not make repairs even when certified license plumbers. Confirm cities busted pipes, faulty meters and shut off valve broken 0 stars worst company ever rude disrespectful an will not fix city issues

Charging a $60 fee for a 15 day late bill. If people are already late chargingthe that much isnt helping.? I can see a $15-$20 charge but $60 that's more than my normal bill!!!

One of the worst biling services I have used. Always charging for whichever payment you want to do because of the system they use. When you have an issue with your payment, they blame the client and not the system AND CHARGE YOU 30 BUCKS. Be smart: build a well. Dont deal with these useless people.
